I need some advice, how do I go about getting my ex girlfriend back?
Ok my ex girlfriend came home from a year in France a few weeks ago. Since she has been home we have been hanging out a lot and are best friends. Our break up was not bad at all. We had been going out for 5 years and decided we need t break up due to the length but we still both like and love each other.
Since she has been home we have kissed and had sex and my feelings for her are still there. I do want to get back with her but not right now. Both of us just want to enjoy being single for a while and have fun. But I know I would want to get back with her someday and she would to.
While she was in France she was seeing this french dickhead (we had broken up at this stage) and I asked her about it and she said it wasnt going to progress into anything. She is going back to france for 3 or 4 weeks and I think she mite see this frenchy again.
I want things between me and my ex to get better and eventually get back with her. But how do I go about it? I am not dwelling over anything so dont say move on because I know in my heart I would love to get back with her someday. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE???
Also my parents are going away for a week next week and I was thinking of asking my ex over for dinner and to watch movies and stuff.

You broke up because the relationship was lasting too long? Are you both crazy? Tell her how you feel, but it would be best to do it while she’s single.
I think your suggestion to invite her over next week would be the perfect opportunity for you to express your feelings that you don’t want to lose her ever, even to this frenchie guy and just want reassurance that there’s nothing between the two of them. Good luck.
Tell her you want to be with her someday in the future because you have feelings for her that you know won’t go away. Say that even though right now you both are at a time in your life where you just want to have fun, that you want her in your life as more than a friend in the future. (sooooo cliche, i know, but man, it’ll probably work if you say something like that)

Dude, you had sex with her when you weren’t even together. You even did activities that sound suspiciously like dating. It sounds to me as if that the only thing missing was the formality of you actually asking her out.

us guys tend to want everyone to wait for us… but we want freedom. sorry my friend, but it doesn’t work that way.
you want her, but not right now… you had sex with her, but she’s leaving again… it seems like you’re both a little indecisive and are not sure about personal plans for the future.
be honest with her. talk to her and let your intentions be known… if you don’t, she could go back to france and hook up with that guy again… then, of course, you’d feel even worse…
if you talk to her, she may be more discreet… but that depends on if she wants to be with you too.
i honestly think that everything is playing out pretty well for you already. i mean, your girlfriend is not going to live in france, so that guy wont last long and obviously she still has feelings for you.
my only concern is that while you both are livin it up being single you’ll meet other people and do things that will hurt each other, even though it’s “allowed” because your singe. After she goes back to france, see if you guys are still acting like a couple and after a few weeks ask her to be your girlfriend again. just take it slow

Ok first of all y’all are some dummies because y’all broke up due to the length of y’alls relationship. If y’all were together for that long it’s for a reason (because y’all love each other) so why in the world would y’all break up just because y’all want to be single for a few days? lol Jesus you kids need some growing up to do. If you still want her let her know and talk about it. The movie part would be a good day to talk about it.
